The Believe Center represents the foundation’s most significant long-term vision — a project shaped not by concept, but by the real needs of those we support daily.
For years, the foundation has been in contact with thousands of patients and families in oncology treatment facilities across the country. Through these conversations, one thing became clear:
Treatment saves lives, yet there is a significant lack of support surrounding it, leaving patients and their loved ones in an extremely vulnerable position.
The real need behind center "Believe"
Many individuals undergoing treatment — or parents of children in treatment — are forced to interrupt their work for extended periods. They are on medical leave, unpaid leave, or entirely outside the workforce. During this time, family incomes are often reduced to minimal means that do not cover actual expenses.
In the same time:
What is Center "Believe" ?
As part of its activities, Believe Foundation is developing the concept of the Believe Center — a multifunctional support center designed to complement hospital treatment without replacing it.
It provides a safe, adaptive, and supportive environment for:
Children with oncological diseases
Patients in active treatment
Parents and family members
People in recovery
Accommodation and daily care
Within the Believe Center, the following are provided:
• Temporary accommodation for patients and parents traveling from other locations
• A calm and safe environment suitable for people with compromised immune systems
• Basic daily care and meals
• A setting that supports rest and recovery beyond the hospital
This allows patients and their loved ones to focus on treatment and recovery, without the added stress of everyday uncertainty.
Psychological support and community support
The Believe Center creates a space for structured psychosocial support and peer support communities.
Within the Center operate:
• Support groups for adult patients to share their experiences during treatment
• Support groups for parents of children undergoing treatment
• Support groups for families who have experienced loss
These communities represent a globally recognized model of person-to-person support, reducing the sense of isolation and providing strength during the most difficult moments.
Education during treatment
One of the most serious problems reported by patients and parents is the interruption of children’s education.
Children and young people undergoing active treatment, often with weakened immune systems, are unable to attend school. This leads to:
• Falling behind in schoolwork
• feeling of isolation
• Loss of connection with the normal rhythm of life
At the Believe Center, an educational program will operate, providing:
• Educators and instructors
• Learning support tailored to the student’s age and grade level
• An individualized approach tailored to the child’s health condition
“The goal is the children to remain connected to their education and not lose confidence in their future.”
Academy for talanted heroes
Within the Believe Center operates the Academy for Talented Heroes — a program dedicated to children, using art and creativity as tools for psycho-emotional recovery.
